Get Nitty Gritty

In January I announced the Fireside Session Workshop Series I am co-hosting alongside Campfire & Co. We have now successfully completed two of the four sessions (01: Branding and Identity and 02: Marketing and PR). The response to these sessions has been immensely positive and both sessions sold out. We are truly grateful to everyone who has attended and made each session unique, inspiring and informative. The groups at both sessions have been curious, smart and honest - a combination that creates a pretty perfect learning and sharing environment.

There are only two Fireside Sessions left and I highly encourage you to sign up for one of these sessions as soon as possible. There are very limited seats available and as the first two have sold out, we anticipate the next two will as well, likely within the next two weeks. Next up is 03: The Nitty Gritty of Writing for the Web. In this session I will be discussing how to hone your writing skills to the particular platforms you are using to reach your followers. We will also discuss how to make the most of your writing once it's complete including sharing, reposting, submissions, guest blogging and more.

This session will be particularly helpful if you are an existing business or brand using some sort of content marketing (blog, social media, email marketing, newsletters) and want to dive deep into how to use these resources to the best of your ability.

Fireside Session 05: The Nitty Gritty of Writing for the Web

This session will be held on Thursday, March 30th from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at The Woodlot (2219 West Main Street, Richmond, VA).

As I've been helping put these sessions together, I have had several inquiries from my clients in the Hampton Roads region about offering this training here. We are excited by this idea and just need to know that there is enough interest to make it work. If you are an HRVA-based business or brand and are interested in any of these sessions OR other topics related to marketing your business, please contact me and let me know your topics of interest and availability. We are also looking for locations to host these sessions in Hampton Roads, so if you know of a space that would be conducive to small-group training, refreshments and networking, please share!

I hope you all are having a beautiful 2017 so far, and I look forward to seeing many of you in sessions, meetings, sidewalks, offices and bars this spring.

Cheers!
